Do Seedance 2.5 Free Credits Expire?

Yes — but not on a timer. Daily free credits are a refill, not a balance. On the observed channel, credits arrive as a batch once a day and what you do not spend is gone by tomorrow. There is no carrying over, and no saving up three days of allowance for one large job.

The cap usually binds before the credits do

This is the part that surprises people. On the observed channel the daily credit grant was 60–100 credits, but the generation cap was 5 per account per day. In practice the cap runs out first — so most people never reach the point where unused credits are the thing that expires.
