Attempts-needed calculator
Video models do not succeed on every attempt. If you know roughly how often a generation comes back usable, this tells you how many attempts a finished clip actually costs — and whether a daily free allowance covers it.
One tester measured roughly 30% with an unstructured prompt and above 60% after assigning one job per reference asset. Your own number will differ; use what you have seen.
What the answer means
Attempts needed is clips ÷ rate, rounded up. A re-roll is a full-price second attempt, so this number is the real cost of one usable clip, not the sticker price of one generation.
Compare it against the daily allowances in the dataset. One channel grants 5 generations per account per day, which is a hard ceiling on attempts regardless of how good your prompt is. Another grants a daily credit balance, but the credits-per-generation rate is not published anywhere I could verify — so that one cannot be converted into attempts without guessing, and this tool will not guess it for you.
Why there is no cost figure here
Because prices change and the credit-to-generation conversion is undocumented, any currency number on this page would be an invention. The arithmetic above uses only what has been observed: a rate you supply, and a clip count you supply.
