About VideoFreeTier

VideoFreeTier tracks one narrow thing: what the free tier of an AI video model actually gives you — how many credits land in your account each day, how many generations that buys, how long a clip can run, what resolution you really get, and whether the file comes back with a watermark on it. Every figure carries the channel it was seen on and the date it was seen, because most of these numbers move without anyone announcing it.

Why this exists

Free-tier terms for these models are the least documented part of the product. Vendors publish a launch post with a headline number, then quietly adjust the daily grant, move the watermark switch, or gate a model behind a membership tier. The information exists — it just lives in scattered screenshots, app screens, and support threads instead of on a spec sheet.

This site collects that into one place, and dates every entry so you can tell what is current from what was current three weeks ago.

Who runs it

VideoFreeTier is written and maintained by an independent developer. No company, no team, no sponsored posts.

What it is not

How the numbers are collected

Two sources, kept separate on purpose. First, vendor-side statements: what a model page, an app screen, or an official post says, read on the date recorded. Second, hands-on use: what actually happened when the thing was run. Where the two disagree — and they do — both are shown rather than averaged into a number nobody published.

Anything that could not be confirmed against a primary source is labelled as a claim, a rumour, or an inference. Nothing is quietly upgraded from "someone said" to "it is".

Corrections

These figures change constantly. If you spot one that is out of date, it is worth saying so — a correction with a date attached is more useful than the original entry. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].

How this site is paid for

VideoFreeTier carries third-party advertising. Ads are served by external partners, not by us, and they may use cookies or similar identifiers. The privacy policy sets out exactly what that means. Advertising has no influence on what gets published here, and no vendor can pay to change a number on this site.
